How do I Find an On-campus Job?

The Financial Aid Services Office can help you locate a rewarding job experience, helping you to finance and enhance your educational experience while enrolled at Binghamton.

Students employed in FWS jobs receive wages that are subsidized by funds received from the federal government. Eligibility for FWS is based on financial need and is granted to students as part of their financial aid package through the filing of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This eligibility will increase your chance of getting hired by on-campus departments, but will NOT guarantee you a job. Jobs are limited and fill quickly. We highly recommend that you make contact with an employer once you arrive on campus. NOTE: If hired by an on-campus department, you will need to complete the specific paperwork necessary for you to get paid. For more specific information about the required documentation needed during the student hiring process at Binghamton University, please call 777-2122.

All student job listings will display a brief job description and relevant contact information that is needed to inquire about the position.
