Federal Satisfactory Academic Progess(SAP)

Federal regulations require that graduate and undergraduate students meet specific academic standards of satisfactory progress in order to receive financial assistance.

Satisfactory academic progress requirements apply to the following types of federal financial assistance:

arrow_right.gifFederal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

arrow_right.gifFederal Direct Parent Loan for Undergraduate Students
arrow_right.gifFederal Direct Graduate PLUS Loan
arrow_right.gifFederal Nursing Loans
arrow_right.gifFederal Perkins Loans
arrow_right.gifFederal Work-Study Program

In order to receive federal financial aid, students must meet the federal standards, noted in the charts below, regardless of whether or not they received federal financial aid during prior terms of enrollment. Students who fall below the minimum standards will be ineligible for federal financial aid in the following term, or terms, until the minimum standards are reached.
