Arkell Hall Scholarship	Awarded to students pursuing nursing careers, with first preference to residents of Montgomery County or the contiguous counties of Fulton, Schoharie, and Herkimer.	Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the next academic year.
Barnes & Noble Scholarship: Decker	Created in 2007, these funds were donated by Barnes & Noble Booksellers to help students finance higher education.	Selection is made by the Decker School of Nursing. No application is required.
BGH SON Alumni Scholarship	The "Binghamton General Hospital Decker School Of Nursing Alumni Scholarship" is awarded to a registered nurse who is a student matriculated in the Decker School of Nursing seeking a baccalaureate degree. First preference is given to residents of Broome, Chenango, Delaware, and Tioga counties in New York, and Susquehanna County in Pennsylvania. The scholarship is based on academic merit and demonstrated financial need.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
Broome Cty Cmty Char Nursing Scholarship	The "Broome County Community Charity Nursing Scholarship" is awarded to a Broome County resident, with second preference given to student within 60 mile radius. Student must show interest in living and working in Broome Co. area and demonstrate financial need. Can be full- part-time or grad student.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
Decker Foundation Scholarship	Awarded to Decker SON students who live within a 60-mile radius of Binghamton.	Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
Dyer-Johnston-Dixon Scholarship	Awarded by the Rotary Club of Binghamton. Named in memory of Drs. Frank Dyer and Harry Johnston, and to honor Dr. Wilbur Dixon's active support for nursing in the Binghamton community over many decades. Recipients are outstanding Binghamton High School or Seton Catholic Central High School graduates pursuing careers in nursing.	Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
Gertrude E Skelly Nursing Loan	Awarded to overall good academic Nursing students who have demonstrated financial need. Preference given to student in the BAT nursing program with second preference to full-time senior nursing students. Limited funds available.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Awarded during the spring semester for the following academic year.
Helene Fuld Health Trust Fund	Established in 2006 exclusively to provide financial assistance to students enrolled in the baccalaureate degree nursing program.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. No other formal application or inquiry required. Selection is made by the Decker School of Nursing.
Kathleen Lotito Nursing Scholarship	Awarded to a matriculated, full-time, undergraduate Decker School of Nursing student with financial need who demonstrates interest in serving in undeserved areas of nursing.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. No other formal application or inquiry required. Selection is made by Decker School of Nursing and is awarded during the spring for following academic year.
Lee & Yum Scholarship	This scholarship is awarded annually to a registered BU student in the Decker School of Nursing. The recipient must demonstrate financial need and be a graduate of a Broome County high school, or adjacent counties.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. No other formal application or inquiry required. Selection is made by Decker School of Nursing and is awarded during the spring for following academic year.
Lester Casper Nursing Scholarship	Established by Jeffrey L.'73 and Karen S.'76 Tanenbaum in memory of Karen's father Lester Casper. The scholarship is awarded annually to a Decker School of Nursing student. Preference will be given to incoming freshmen with financial need as determined by the Office of Student Financial Aid and Employment. Recipients will retain the scholarship through their senior year as long as they continue to meet the criteria and remain in good academic standing.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
Mark & Ann O'Neil Scholarship	Established to benefit financially needy Decker School of Nursing graduate students. Recipients must be matriculated full- or part-time master's degree students. Preference is given to students pursuing a specialty in primary care or gerontology who have an interest in serving community-based elder care or rural elder patients. An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher must be maintained.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
Nielsen Nursing Scholarship	Established in 1992 by the Nielsens, who are active and loyal supporters of the University.	Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
O'Connor Nursing Scholarship	Awarded to a student enrolled in the nursing curriculum with first preference to students from Delaware County with any balance to be used for students from the contiguously surrounding counties.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
Okin Scholarship - Decker	Established in 2002 by Robert '77 and Susan '78 Okin. The scholarship will be awarded to a Decker School of Nursing freshman or transfer student.	Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
SON Alumni Scholarship	This School of Nursing Alumni Scholarship was established in 1995 by alumni and friends of the Decker School of Nursing to assist matriculated full-time or part-time junior or senior students. Based on financial need and merit.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Awarded during the spring semester for the following academic year.
UHS Hospitals Nursing Scholarship	Awarded to a full-time Decker School of Nursing student who is from a qualified minority group or an immigrant with US citizenship or their children. The recipient must be a resident of Broome, Chenango, Delaware, Tioga (NY), or Susquehanna (PA) counties. The scholarship award is based on academic merit (GPA 3.0 or higher) and involvement in community service. Financial need may be a secondary consideration.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Awarded during the spring semester for the following academic year.
Valentina and R. Gordon Wasson Scholarship	Awarded to full or part-time graduate students in the Decker School of Nursing. Based on academic merit and financial need.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114.
Wilson Memorial Hospital Scholarship	Awarded to matriculated full or part-time undergraduate Decker School of Nursing students with financial need. Preference will be given to Wilson Memorial Hospital School of Nursing (WMHSON) alumni or relatives of Wilson alumni. Preference will also be given to residents of New York or Pennsylvania within a 60-mile radius of the University.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Awarded during the spring semester for the following academic year.
Wm H Lane Inc.Scholarship	Established in 1996, this scholarship is awarded to a matriculated full-time undergraduate junior or senior or full or part-time graduate student in nursing. The award is based upon academic merit and proven financial need. The recipient must be a New York State resident with first preference given to those residing in upstate New York.	Student must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the BU Financial Aid Services Office. Must also complete Decker School of Nursing General Scholarship application by March 1. Applications are available in the Decker School Deans Office AB-114. Recipients will be chosen in the spring for the following academic year.
